I was quite surprised and a bit worried that the clip included "no sex" in its list of what makes a good milonga. Was that a bit of "tongue in cheek" or were they serious?
@Pierre, I think "no sex" is a slight exaggeration but I remember one regular dancer who used to turn up with a series of different (rather similar-looking, but different) women week after week and spend the entire evening with them holding up traffic and trying to attract a bucket of water. It's VERY ANNOYING.
Good to hear. Sex is the last thing I would associate with a milonga.
I find those dancers quite funny. If all you want is to score with women, there are better dances to take them to than tango (salsa comes to mind, because its easy). Tango is actually quite stressful for beginners.
