Ever since about when I went to Les Cigales I've been mainly trying to make the best of a mostly lovely summer, and haven't been that vocal on tango subjects. And before that I was upset about something. You can't waste a lovely summer, you don't know when there'll be another one. The cloudscape of Folkestone beach, shortly after rain:
It's nice being me.
And the same from some very pretty gardens, as I walked down the slope with a friend, holding her toddler by the hand. He is not quite conversable yet but he is tall enough that I can stand up straight if he holds me by two fingers. He still has a baby grip.
blimey! you would visit when I was out of town! yes lovely views.... sigh....
ReplyDeleteGosh, it really does look more beautiful than I remembered.
ReplyDeleteIt's all about the sky :)
ReplyDeleteThat's why I love where I live now! There may not be any Tango, but I have so much more of nature that fills my soul.
ReplyDeleteEver need a break, come on down, even if it's just for the day!
since I am moving from Folkestone soon, will do some photos of classic views off the Folkestone cliffs - and I'll call it "Big Sky" ...
ReplyDeleteHope what upset you, has now ended/vanished/is a distant memory.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing you've read 'The Cloud Spotter's Guide'
@Golondrina, yes I have, what a good book that is! genius. And great to take on a plane. I'm pretty much over the upset now. Well, nearly always. Thanks ;)
