The sound of rain on broadleaved trees in full leaf.
I love it.
The thunder is almost continuous.

I'm enjoying our warm rain as well. Thunderstorms can be so beautiful ...
I like them to, the noisier the better. Like too a good dose of lightning, better at night so I can enjoy the eerie light. By the way I enjoy night walks by moonlight in the country, on familiar places; everything looks and feels so different from daylight, a bit surreal and dreamy.
@maya - About ten years ago I was on a residential training course at a country house. It had large grounds, and was a long way from any town; the kind of English country house that has a Cedar of Lebanon on the lawn. After dark I left my room and walked out into the almost perfect darkness, wearing black, and sat on the damp grass where no-one could see me. I didn't dare stay long - I wasn't worried about anything out there, but I was afraid someone would come out and ask me what I was doing. But it felt like such a privilege to be in true outdoor darkness - I remember it vividly.
